how is the summer going so far? Vacation may be close but as you know your MentArt team is here to remind you about the course 😀

In this regard, we annouce that from July 7th the third sections of all the modules are available. Specifically, you can find these new sections:
– Inclusive communication: for module of Digital Communication and Inclusive Design
– The numbers: for the module of Social Entrepreneurship
– In the now + Creative block: for the module of Creative Path
– Mindfulness and self compassion: for the module of Self-care and Wellbeing

We also highlight that the recording of the second webinar (The use of AI in the art field) is now available in the module “Online webinars”. There, you can upload your assignment, and the duedate is July 13.

Hi there,
Is there anyone else having problems with playing the video in Inclusive communication: for module of Digital Communication and Inclusive Design? For me, the video has no sound and it keeps jumping back after 9 seconds or so. I cannot get any further.

I just want to say, thanks so much for including a course on Inclusive Communication. As a woman with a non-visible disability AND a person of color navigating in the Western world, this is really important for me not only because it personally affects me in a multitude of ways, but also because I strongly believe that inclusion makes us as a society better. I’ve been an advocate for this for a long time but it’s my first time learning about it in typography. I’m always happy to be a better ally and learn more so thank you.

An interesting point about using non-binary language, it’s a bit constant reminder for me because in my native language Tagalog/Filipino, our pronouns are already non-binary (sya) and we have a lot of non-gendered words for commonly-gendered English or Romance language words. And also in our pre-colonial days, we also recognized LGBTQ people as a regular part of society. Just a little tidbit I wanted to share.

Anyway, thanks Marika, Chiara, and Ment-Art team! Looking forward to proceeding with the next lessons!

Hi, Erika! I just finished The Numbers module of Social Entrepreneurship and I’m not able to download the Income and Expenses Control Sheet template in English. The link on the slide is the same with the Financial Viability Plan Overview template so it just leads to the same google sheets link.

Surely just a small oversight! I’d like to download it when updated! Thank you.

Thank you Mek for sharing such interesting info about your language, it tells a lot of your people’s rooted cultural attitude, as languages always do. I’m very much into discovering such things, maybe we could have a talk about it when we meet in Rome for our next Ment’Art in presence appointment…

Hi Marika and co. I can’t find where to attach our AI assignments on “Online webinars”, could you please post a link?
Ina did upload our work done with Milenka on two different forum threads (one in the module forum and the other on the general info forum), but we’re not sure they’re visible and anyway you said to upload them in the online section but I can’t see how to do it…
